Melissa Morgan is an associate attorney in our Lubbock office. Melissa's primary area of practice is in Family Law.
Melissa graduated summa cum laude from Hardin Simmons University in December 2001 with a B.A. in Business Administration. She obtained her J.D. at Texas Tech University School of Law in May 2005. During her time at Texas Tech, Melissa was awarded Order of the Barristers, the J. Hadley Edgar Trial Excellence Award, and the Cotton, Bledsoe, Tighe & Dawson Advocacy Award. Melissa's participation in national mock trial competitions earned her the distinction of Best Advocate as part of the National Finalist Team in the 2004 William Daniel Mock Trial, Atlanta, Georgia. In her role as Justice of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Melissa spearheaded the Inaugural Law School Gala.
Melissa joined Mullin Hoard & Brown in June 2010. Prior to joining the firm, Melissa had a solo practice in Stonewall County where she focused on criminal defense and family law matters. In 2009 Melissa was elected Stonewall County Attorney.
