Mullin Hoard & Brown, L.L.P. has a strong appellate practice and in addition to obtaining a substantial number of judgments in favor of our clients, we have successfully affirmed many of those judgments on appeal.  We have an extensive and wide-ranging appellate practice as our lawyers have defended and prosecuted a wide variety of cases throughout Texas and the United States.  Our partner Donald M. Hunt leads the firm's appellate practice and he is considered by many to be the Dean of Texas appellate lawyers.  Don has taught Appellate Advocacy for a quarter of a century at The Texas Tech University School of Law.  Don was recently honored by having a new high-tech courtroom at Texas Tech named in his honor.  He is assisted by our partners and associates who also have extensive experience in the appellate area. 

While our appellate practice is focused in Texas, our attorneys are experienced in appellate courts throughout the nation. Our appellate lawyers are authorized to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Seventh, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuits, the Supreme Court of Texas, the Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas, and all Texas Courts of Appeals.
