Brad W. Odell is an associate in the firm's Lubbock Office. Brad joined the firm in 2011 after having practiced law for more than two years with a mid-sized firm in Dallas, Texas. Immediately after law school, Brad served as the law clerk to the Honorable Robert L. Jones, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas, Lubbock Division. Brad focuses his practice on bankruptcy, creditors' rights and business litigation.
Brad's bankruptcy practice includes the representation of debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, and trustees in all aspects of the bankruptcy and restructuring process. Brad likewise has extensive experience in banrkuptcy litigation, defending and prosecuting fraudulent transfers and preference actions. Brad has also been involved in bankruptcy appeals to the district and circuit court levels.
Brad's creditors' rights practice includes the representation of secured and unsecured creditors. Brad has successfully represented clients in acquiring both pre-judgment and post-judgment remedies. In regards to business litigation, Brad has represented clients in prosecuting and defending actions for breach of contract, breach of lease, trade dress infringement, interference with contractual rights, and employment contract disputes.
Outside of the office, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife, Kaci, and two children, Claire and Wesley. Brad enjoys traveling domestically and internationally. In fact, Brad spent two years in and around Concepcion, Chile from 1998 to 2000. When time permits, you will also find Brad on the golf course.
